John V - Texas

The GK has had a colorful past. She's a 1982 vintage, & the original owner (from the Austin TX area) was hard on her. My ex-father-in-law purchased her in the mid to late 80's with a salvage title. The front fairing was horribly busted, the case guard bars & saddle bag mounts were bent & ground down road rash, and the travel trunk was completely gone. I purchased her from him in July of '90 and started getting her back up in shape. New case guards, and LH saddle bag mount. The RH was no longer available. The front fairing was removed from an '84 due to the rash on the RH side, but is otherwise pristine. New '84 travel trunk, and lots of TLC. Presently she has 'bout 30k on the clock.
